Machine Operative

***MACHINE OPERATIVE***
Are you hands-on, detail-driven Machine Operative who has a passionate about producing high-quality products? If so this could be the perfect opportunity to join a well-established, stable company. Starting on a temporary to permanent basis this is an immediate opportunity for you to joining a busy team as a Machine Operative. A manufacturing background is preferred, full training will be provided.
Salary £14.28ph Hours 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities for the Machine Operative include,

• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Packing products accurately using correct weights and materials
• Supporting quality audits, defect identification & corrective actions
• Working closely with production and quality teams
• Maintaining a clean, organised 5S working environment
• Communicating effectively across shifts

The ideal Machine Operative will need;

• Some previous manufacturing/production experience essential
• Experience of manufacturing an end product is preferred
• Be physically able to do some heavy lifting (within health & safety guidelines) up to 15-20kg multiple times per day
• Be comfortable being on your feet all day
• Be self-motivated team player who enjoys producing high quality products
• Have a good standard of verbal/written English
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Own safety boots required
